“Little Bird” a song by Annie Lenox to help support the work of Love146 to end child sex slavery and exploitation

On 11 April 2011, over 100 stars from London’s top West End musicals stunned Trafalgar Square, in the centre of London with a spectacular Flash Mob in support of Love146, a non-profit organization working to abolish child sex slavery and exploitation. Captured on film in just one take, the singers and dancers wowed the unsuspecting crowd with a stirring rendition of Annie Lennox’s Little Bird. The Love146 Flash Mob included stars from Wicked, Mamma Mia!, We Will Rock You, Love Never Dies and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. http://youtu.be/NME1-ZiJPXY

“Peaceful, non-violent disturbance has pushed the world forward since the beginning of man. Your job dear seeker, if you have the courage to accept it, is to not stand down. Hold a space of love, of progress and of unwavering conviction to the truths of your heart. Don’t stand down.” —Mastin Kipp

Tyler Knott: To The Mothers → tylerknott.com

tylerknott:

This is an ode to all of those
that have never asked for one.
A thank you in words to all of those
that do not do what they do so well
for the thanking.
This is to the mothers.
This is to the ones who match our first
scream with their loudest scream;
who harmonize in our shared pain and joy
and…

Our team just arrived in Tucaloosa, AL yesterday and after driving around it is honestly worse than I ever imagined. I’m going to be pretty simple and to be the point here. I know most of you reading this are aware of the damage caused by the Tornadoes. Many of you I’m sure have seen pictures, watched videos etc.

We’ve talked to people who had family members literally sucked out of the house while they watched. One man was in the bathroom with his 9 year old daughter. He put her in the bathtub hoping she’d be safe. The tornado sucked the bathtub right out of the house with the girl in the tub.

The stories we’ve heard are heartbreaking. But amongst the heartbreak, there is a sense of hope. ~ Sean Wrench. Founder and Director at Forsaken Generation: https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/forsakengeneration

10 years, 2 wars, 919,967 deaths, & $1,188,263,000,000 later, we managed to kill one person. I hope it was worth it.
