SILENT TEARS
Lost child where do you belong?
With painted eyes and ruby lips.
Do your parents know you are gone,
scratches and bruises hidden under your slip.
By day locked away behind a door,
in silent tears you cry your pain,
how long will you stay? No one is sure.
Sweet innocence is lost, never to be regained.
Silent tears cry what is often read
a missing child, perhaps a run away.
Parents accepting their child is dead.
Not knowing they behind locked doors remain.
Paint a smile upon your face,
nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.
This room is now your only place,
where others like you sit side by side.
Over a million have gone away,
so many young lives hidden in locked rooms.
Silent tears they cry each day
while growing up too soon.
Behind locked doors the tears do flow,
to be handled like cheap merchandise,
to those who know, just where to go
in search of what delights their eyes.
Save the children from this plight
teach them the truth about human trade
that it exist in our everyday life
a hidden world has been made.
A million plus cry silent tears
shedded behind locked doors all over the land
a true existance that brings fear,
lets fight against it hand in hand.
Too many lifes lost to those who prey
upon our young and weak.
It happens all around every day
silent tears that cannot speak.
